Invasive Weeds

Scroll

Invasive weeds/species are becoming more and more prevalent on our watercourses.

Some of these weeds and species are not only invasive, but are also harmful to human beings. It is Storm Geomatics policy to train all site staff to identify anything classed as invasive primarily as a personal safety measure. Secondly, to notify the client of the potential dangers, and problems that arise from the infestation.

This service is complimentary with all our survey contracts and has also edcucated our surveyors the importance of the “check, clean, dry” system when using equipment and clothing from one project to the next to avoid the spread of the invasive species.

Expert Tip
“By using a survey company that can identify invasive weeds and species, you will be better informed on the environmental status of a site or area. This information could be vitally important to your project.”
Mike Hopkins
Managing Director
