River Survey Questionnaire

Storm Geomatics started the New Year with a resolution to improve their quality and range of services that they provide to the water industry. To help achieve this goal, feedback and ideas have been asked for by clients. A river survey questionnaire was sent to seventy hydraulic engineers and the results are now available (You can get them by emailing us from the contact link at the top of this page). There were some interesting and varied replies to the ten questions which ranged from survey prices to client fears and survey deliverables. Online project feedback has also been implemented which gives clients the opportunity to suggest ways to smooth the transition from survey to modelling/design so that it makes their job trouble free.

Surveyors have been busy again this month with river channel surveys around Yately, Shrewsbury, Cheltenham (whilst avoiding the festival traffic!), Wellesbourne, Newbridge (fishpass photo above) and the Lake District. All this work has been done in glorious spring sunshine, the weather has been very settled and dry for March……is this the calm before the Storm?
