A Junior Land Surveyor is a step up in pay and responsibility from a trainee land surveyor. You will know every aspect of completing at least one type of survey, from preparation to delivery (e.g., river survey, topographic survey, bathymetric survey, etc.). As you gain more experience working on your own initiative, you will take on different tasks and learn to apply survey techniques to a wider range of projects of varying sizes. You will be responsible for leading your own training and working with Surveyors/Senior Surveyors to fill in knowledge gaps.

You should be on the pathway to gaining your CICES membership or equivalent.

Once you have proven you can successfully work on your own initiative and make decisions for a wide range of projects, you will be ready to move up to surveyor status. Fifty percent of the time should be spent leading your own projects or leading your own team within a larger project. We offer a competitive package to the successful applicant, including a good salary, fully paid overtime, overnight inconvenience benefits, company phone, workplace pension, and the chance to progress your career and gain a professional qualification within the surveying industry.

Storm Geomatics is a partner of the Chartered ICES Approved Development Scheme, Geospatial Engineering Scheme.
